Add Images to Questions and Answers

Introduction

Images provide for usability, friendliness, and better appearance of your Product Finder. When creating a conversation with your customer, you can add images to your questions or answers, to illustrate them and make them more appealing.

  ATTENTION

Before adding an image to your Product Finder or to the Library, please make sure that you've read through corresponding requirements and recommendations

1. Add an Image to an Answer or a Question

In order to add an image to a question

1. Open the question in the question bank and click the image icon on the right:

You can assign images for every answer as well:

2. In the emerged window click the "New image" button

 

Select the way to add the image.

1.1. Add an Image from the Library

If you want to add an image to the library:

1. Choose the "From library" option in the drop-down. The library window will emerge.

2. Click the name of the image that you want to add.

3. Click "Choose file" at the bottom of the settings tab that has emerged.

The image will be added to the question/answer.

1.2. Add an Image from Your Device 

To add an image directly from your device:

1. Choose "From your device" option

2. Select the image in your file management application. 

3. Click the button "Open" or "Add" (subject to the file management application.

4. The file will be added to the Library.

5. Click "Choose file" at the bottom of the settings tab that has emerged (just as at when adding from the Library) and the image will be added to the question/answer

1.3. Add a URL of the Image

To add a URL of the image,

1. Choose "From URL" option

 

2. In the emerged window, define the name of the new asset and the path to it. 

 

4. The file will be added to the Library.

5. Click "Choose file" at the bottom of the settings tab that has emerged and the image will be added to the question/answer.

  KEEP IN MIND!

The URL images are not saved in the system and uploaded to the Product Finder from the defined URL each time. If the image at the source is changed, it will be changed in all the Product Finders. If the image is not available to the user for any reason, no image will be displayed instead.

 

2. Enable/Disable Images for the Product Finder

You can enable and disable the display of Images for Questions and Answers. If the images have been disabled, they still will be saved in the settings and will be displayed if you enable them.
